Notes on loss

At 12.32 hours on 9 Jul, 1940, the unescorted Tiiu was hit in the engine room by one torpedo from U-34 and sank after 6 minutes southwest of Ireland. On 11 July, the survivors were picked up by a British fishing trawler and landed at Milford Haven.
