16.50 hrs, off the Norwegian coast: the boat was damaged in a strafing attack by six Beaufighters of RAF Sqdn 235. Two men were wounded.
19 May 1943
The frigate HMS Tay (Cmdr. R. E. Sherwood) depth charged the boat near convoy SC 130. Severe damage forced U-952 to return to port, arriving 31 May. (Sources: Blair, vol 2, page 334)
