<HTML>I have a Canadian chart of the area, marked with the GPS coordinates we dove. We searched up, down and offshore for a couple of days. We were using a fish finder only. A search using more sophisticated equipment than a fish finder may be of some use, however I do not have a side scan unit. It appears the Canadian government searched in the mid 90's and found only some broken rock. The Canadian government department that covers wrecks has only "anecdotal" evidence. My friend and I were going to go back this past summer but never made it (14 hr drive.) We met with a bit of hostility from a few locals the last time we were there. In answer to them and the person who mentioned war graves. Our goals were to find the wreck, verify there is a submarine, mark position, photograph, and possibly try to identify. No artifacts were to be removed or disturbed at the site. We are open to going back, but more complete information is needed.</HTML>
