Real Navymen in the cast DAS BOOT

Looking at Das Boot one thinks that quite a couple of the actors had spent some time in the German Navy. But as far as I know the only one I am sure of is "Kaleu Thomsen" actor Otto Sander who was a real Leutnant zur See der Reserve in the Bundesmarine.Any other ones?
