| At 8:15pm Saint Luc was steaming in convoy BG68 with SS Ariel and (La) Nina, a little british tug when she was torpedoed. The convoy was under escort of patrol boats HMS Chrysanteme (leader), HMS Narcissus, Navy trawler Altair II and American yacht Cythera. SS Ariel was to be torpedoed as well a short time later also by UB 105..
