Mr. Gill,

This is right off topic. I noted that you were in the RCNVR. My later father was also in the RCNVR (1943-1946) and served on DEMS as a Leading Seaman/gunnery man.

I have been attempting to find out more on the history of the RCNVR and of the DEMS but there doesn't seem to be anything out there. Perhaps you might know of something?
