About two years ago, I completed a 1/32 VIIC. It was quite an experience, not so much the craftmanship, but cramming all that plumbing and RC gear in - and this was a big model. I've lost count of the brass tubing that disappeared into the model. It's 6'10" long, weighs around 80 pounds with batteries. Dives, and even comes back up on occasion. And is quite a hit at the local lake. I've been mulling over putting in a compressed air ballast system - small air compressor (probably modify a .049 engine) pressure tank, etc... be neat to add that bit of realism to the model.
