Hi Yall:
The "Type-VIIC planroll" comes in 10 ea. 33 1/2" X 23 1/2" sheets.
They are the exact same blueprints as in the rear of the book "Vom
Original zum Modell: Uboottyp VIIC", just on bigger sheets of paper.
The plans are in 1:100, 1:20, 1:15, and 1:5 scale, there is also some
that don't even give you the scale. You will have to blow up some and
blow down some to get the scale that you are building. This can be
done on a copy machine or at Kinkos. I know to go from 1:100 to 1:32
you copy at 175% once, then copy that at 175% again. Remember that a
standard copy machine distorts the image slightly, to prevent people
from counterfeiting money. This can be helped somewhat by copying one
way, then copying the other way next time. A printing house, like
Kinkos, might be able to go up or down just one time, making a more
accurate copy. If I remember correctly, I paid around $68.00 usd to
for my planroll. Fritz Kohl also make planrolls for Type-IXC and Type-XXI U-boats as well as a few others.
Good Luck and Good Hunting,
