Hi Einsamer

As far as thr proper colour scheme goes for U-boat decks, it is a matter
of conditional circumstance. Most early U-boats did have a wooden
deck. However, during the war the decks were painted in a light grey
colour , the same as the conning tower. I did look at some pictures
to confirm this matter. So I do think the Revel kit is correct to mention
this colour scheme (lichtgrau -lightgrey) for the deck. I have no doubts
this is the true colour the German navy did use on their U-boats decks
during the war.
