Whew! :) I'm glad to hear you did not actually see the words "color diagrams" in either of those reviews.

Unfortunately I can't answer your question about the deck color from the books I have at hand.

You might want to post this query in the Technology and Operations forum, as many who post there are quite knowledgeable about U-boat construction, but might not look into the Modeling forum.
