Hi Mike and fellow Crewmates

Thanks for your enquiry Mike. I am pleased to report that U-47 is now completed and is occupying a place of honour in my dining room !! It took quite a long time to complete, and my heartfelt thanks go to all fellow uboat enthusiasts who took the time to help me along the way! I think it looks pretty smart, and will gladly send a piccie to the Forum if that becomes possible. One or two mishaps during construction (torpedo tail broke off, dropped the transfers into a glass of wine, you know the sort of thing) but I can't wait to start another one. Any suggestions? I think U-47 was a bit complicated because of all the interior bits and pieces, but I reckon if I can cope with that I can try something else !
