Navigation Light

Hello everyone-
just a quick question - what color was the navigation light on the end of the wintergarden of the Type VII (probably more types too -?) ? My best guess says it should be white, but as I have learned from other querries, what often applies to other seagoing vessels did not apply to U-Boats :-)
