If price is no object, then Andrea Miniatures have a 1/32 scale VIIC on the market. It is mixed media (resin, photo etched brass and white metal) as opposed to plastic, so probably wouldn't be suitable for a beginner. When complete, the model measures about 2 metres or 6' bow to stern. It will set you back roughly £1500. Check Military Modelling and similar magazines for more info.
