Are you trying to insure no dust is present before painting or want to insure no grease etc. screws up your paint by keeping it from sticking?
I would suggest compressed air, blow everthing off good. Then you could use tact cloth. You know the kind you get from hardware store to get the dust off wood work before staining. If you really want to clean use a liquid solvent that has high evaporation rate. You can go to hardware store and check the different ones that are used for cleaning.
