Hi Paul
I am building a model of the Amati 1/72 U-Boat Type VII-B 1936. I am after information about the hull. The instructions seem to give you advice to scribe recessed panel/plate lines into the hull. The concern I have, would there have been recessed lines or would they have been raised weld seams for the various metal plates. Also would there have been rivet and bolt heads on the hull?
Also with the deck would this type of boat had any section of the deck made of wood?
Thanks Gerhard
