hi there i am building a scratch built 1/48 typ vll,i have built my hull in wood which i am using as a mould to form my tin plate on i have been looking for hull detail so i can get my plating corect,but dont seem to be having much luck in locating the info,i have a couple of picks which you can see the plating which is riveted,but the presure hull was welded and formed the underside of the hull(i think)so there could be possibly both types of detail(overlaped riveted,and welded)if i find any thing else ill post it here i can also send the picks i have so far it is of a model giving a good look at the bow detail,back to the question off decking i have a book off all the views of the sub giving good deck detail,i can scan and send you a copy if you like thnx Lasse
