Hi, I'm intended to build Revell's U VIIC represented as Brandi's U617. I've been searching for data on this particular sub and have found a camouflage scheme from ULAD decals in which her conning tower seems the normal type, with rounded flak site, but in a photo which says it is from U617 the conning tower is of the extended type used in mediterranean operations. Does somebody details of the layout of the second type? Would it be very difficult to modify the kit? Can somebody confirm if U617 had both types of conning tower while on duty?
