Hi Alonso,
The U 617 photo on page 49 of Steve Wiper's Warship Pictorial #27 shows the boat with a Med-style tower. This is sometimes referred to as the "Mittelmeerturm" and can be seen on the Dream Arts website at -

The photo on page 49 of the book also shows U 617 with the splotch pattern on the tower as well as the upper hull, whereas on the ULAD decal guide the splotches are on the upper hull only.
So far no aftermarket company has produced a conversion for the Mittelmeerturm in 72nd scale (the Dream Arts tower is in 40th scale, intended for the Robbe RC boat).
