Kind of you to point me to the Martindale article. I read the great majority of that PDF previously in my efforts to research paint scheme colours. I had no idea there was any mention of lantern colours there though. I will have to go through it again.

In any event, I think I'll simply go with white for both the tower and stern lamps.
