Hello

I have studied type VIIC tanks some time ago and I think, that Stern and Bow Buoyoncy Tanks (Wasserdichte Heck and Wasserdichte Back) are not connected to trim system (I don't see any such installations on [www.uboatarchive.net]). I think, that these tanks could be only full flooded or full blown (vents are visible on [www.uboatarchive.net], air blow installation on [www.uboatarchive.net]). When boat is surfaced, these tanks are blown and (due to their location on the ends of hull) increase longitudinal stability of the boat. During dive tanks are flooded.
Above considaration is my private conclusion and if someone could correct me, I would be glad to learn something more about u-boot technology.
