Hi Jeff !

On 11th March 1944 Catalina D/279 Sqdr and Catalina P/262 Sqdr (RSAAF)
sank German U-It-22 (ex-Italian s/m ALPINO BAGNOLINI ) off Cape of Good Hope.
( 41*28´S - 17*40´E ).

I have also searched in Richards&Saunders:RAF 1939-1945 Vol I-III,
but can find no info on any additional Uboat sinking by 262 Sqdr.
