U-47 Ventilation duct

Bill Dunn on the SubCommittee's model forum posted a question which
hasn't been answered yet: The Amati kit has a ventilation duct in the
center of the tower, just behind the scope housing. It also has side ventalition
ducts on both sides of the tower.(no trunking) I have a photo of the starboard side of U-47 showing the duct, and no external trunking. So, can anyone confirm
the validity of the central duct on the U-47 model? BTW, this kit is NO beginers
kit, IMHO. I'm having a lot of fun :) fitting the deck/side plates. Thanks!
Regards. Greg
