Jeff,
Thanks for the idea to call Model Expo. That's where I got the kit. If I could
get some of the brass deck material I could cover that one smooth section
where the central duct went. If I get enough, I could scratch build a larger
wintergarden, move the AA gun there, add side ducting, and vola, U-99! All this from a guy who is still working on the plan to get the deck and brass side plates to fit reasonably.
Overall, this is a fun and challenging kit. I would never have know of the inaccuracies without u-boat.net. Thanks, guys winking smiley. I can hardly wait to
get into R/C boats. :) Greg
