Here you can read:

Submarine HMS "Venturer"

V class. Built by Vickers Armstrong, Barrow. Launched 4th May 1943. Sank the German U-boat U-771 off the Lofoten Islands, 11th November 1944. Sank the German U-boat U-864 west of Bergen 9th February 1945. Both submarines were submerged at the time and Venturer's firing solution was obtained from asdic (sonar).

I would add :both subs and U-Boats were submerged at periscope depth.

Geoffrey Jones in his book "Submarines versus U-Boats" accounts both U-771
and U-864 sinkings by HMS Venturer, but describes U-864 one as the only "two subs submerged action/sinking".
