Hi folks, I'm trying to find some specific information regarding the high-pressure air system in the u-boats. I have seen information stating a maximum operating pressure of 250 kg/cm2 and one stating 205 kg/cm2. Anyone know which is correct?
I also wonder how many banks it was divided in, I've seen numbers between 4 and 6.
And also what was the operating pressure of the medium pressure system, 40-50kg?
I'm mostly interested in the type VIIc u-boat, but data regarding other types are naturally of interest to, since I guess the systems didn't differ to much.
Actually any information you might have regarding the air system is of interest.
Thanks.
