Hi Jeff

Mirage-Hobby has at least two type II u-boats models (U-60 and U-149),
fitted with snorkel.

You are right, there were at least one type II u-boat (U-58) fitted with snorkel, for
evaluation/testing purposes.

Surely you have read it in this site.I´ve just found info regarding this subject (including a list with all u-boats fitted with this device) :
