That's funny, I would've expected the transmitter and the receiver to be combined
into a single unit, and that unit to be mounted in the forward-most part of the
nose for maximum view of the forward arc. The pre-amp is that thin, large
assembly that's attached to the smaller white unit that is unidentified in the
picture. Call THAT a transducer and it would make more sense.
