Tony,
I asked two questions on 9/13 and 9/16 respectively. You chose not to answer them. Instead you are making up another what if scenario in order to have the last word.
From your non-answers I can only surmise, that you have not yet piloted a boat or ship of any size. Are you indeed our young Master Tony (past sign-ins without last name), who so enthusiastically tried to absorb everything in this forum?? If yes,
do you really think you learned enough to give the answers now rather than continuing to ask questions??
Incidentically rudder or no rudder, that is the beauty of a twin screw vessel: If your steering gear fails, you still are able to maneuver. Whereas on a single prop vessel you are screwed in case of rudder failure. Rgds, RB
