Hi Simon:

This is the first time that I have been writing in this forum, for one years interests the subject to me of the possible presence of U-Boat in Chile, reason why your commentary of the U-196 in Chilean fiords escorted of a ship of our Navy seems to me interesting. This information where you obtained it? , Is reliable? , Do you known the area in the south of Chile where it happened the sighting?

My interest in the U-Boat in Chilean waters, is in which if they exist antecedent certain on a possible location of a ship, my company has all the average ones to locate it until a depth of 400 m (side scan sonar, multibeam, sub bottom profiler, ROV, tow cameras, etc).
