The vessels listed are not converted fishing trawlers.
Borde was a 2,000 ton old coalier converted to destroy magnetic mines with a powerful electro-magnet 600 tons and 60 feet long which was stuffed into her forward coal hold.
Cobrae was an old coal ship launched in 1912 and also converted for this purpose after the success of Borde destroying several magnetic mines.
Not sure where you got the FY numbers for these vessels from but they are not fishing vessels.

Perhaps you are thinking of the 'deguassing girdle'? This was a cable fastened around the ship which was energized by an electric current to neutralise a ship's magnetism. Several vessels were fitted with these 'electric chastity belts' including converted armed trawlers.
