In 1993 Ken Reed published a book about HMS Gorleston and the other boats in the class. It is called 'The Hand-me-down Ships' ISBN 0 9522387 0 5. My father served on the Gorlston for a while. He went through the Med and left her, I think, Mombassa. he did keep an illegal diary, which I have, and also some photos.
