Good Day
My Grandfather William (Bill) Swann was one of the lucky few RM Bandsmen to survive the tragic consequences of that fateful day I have not read the book but have been told he is not mentioned in it which is a shame he never did talk about the events and like all that suffered during the war I'm sure he was a changed man as a consequence of keeping it bottled up, reading the forum has been interesting and very sad at the same time - I have found by searching the web a picture of him together with a few bandsmen, may they all rest in peace - Steve
