Hello - my father George Banks served on HMS Petard, I am not sure of the dates I am afraid. But my sister told he me he told her he was on board at the time of the Enigma U Boat incident. He never told me that! He did though tell me about the sinking of a Japanese submarine at one point. He died in 2009 aged 88 but a few years before that went to at least one reunion down in Portsmouth. I would be most grateful for any information.
