I know the name of one crew member on this ship. My grandfather Russell Dembiski.

I heard many stories about his time escorting the convoys, and seeing the flashes, as well as hearing the bombs in the distance. My aunt actually still has his foot locker from then, as well as his naval uniform. He had many other things, and alot of pictures that she donated to the military museum in Calgary. I know part of that collection was a picture of my grandfather with the ships mascot...a dog they had onboard. Learned alot about how the ships having mascots for luck too.
