I hope the following is of interest.
All of the prices include a percentage to cover overheads and establishment charges etc.as charged by the shipyard (Swan Hunter) All prices are in pounds sterling.
HMS Anson Battleship 3,177,443
HMS Mauritius Cruiser 1,304,170
HMS Gambia Cruiser 1,350,088
HMS Newfoundland Cruiser 1,269,608
HMS Hyperion Destroyer 240,065
HMS Somali Destroyer 341,592
HMS Tartar Destroyer 332,987
HMS Quality Destroyer 428,767

The above prices are the totals from the very detailed cost sheets kept by the shipbuilder- so detailed that they include the costs of crockery and bedding etc!
