Thanks again for your help.

No, I am not a diver, though I did read something about these wrecks in a diving book about Sardinia recently. I know these are diving sites and they are well documented.

My own interest is two-fold: I was walking on holiday around the beaches of the Gulf of Orosei only last week; and my father was in the RAF and was involved in anti u-boat and anti-shipping patrols around the Sardinian coastline.

Incidentally - does your record have an accurate location for the wreck?
