I have been told that my father Leading Seaman George Edwin Watkinson was serving on this ship when he was mortally wounded in 1944 he died from his wounds on 10th march 1944 at Barrow Gurney (not sure of the spelling) I never knew my father and everyone concerned is now dead. Any information or photograph of him or news concerning him would be so appreciated.
