Thank you for the answers, that is exactly what confused me, Colledge says 1942 whereas the site dedicated to the maltese families says 1941, there are several entries under the letter "D", all stating "killed 8 April 1941" when the Moor sank in Grand Harbor.
Moor was crossing Grand Harbor to get back to her station, using an authorized shortcut through an unswept area when she was mined.
Given that the dates of death should be more accurate than the single entry in Colledge, it's likely to have been 1941.
