Hi there

I am a visitor to the Historic Warships at Birkenhead Merseyside one of the premier attractions of the area.

I was upset and shocked to hear that The Warship Preservation Trust had to go into Voluntary Liquidadation Due to the local councils lack of efficiency The Warship Preservation Trust house the only German U-boat ever raised which people can tour, not only that they have vessels from the Falklands war open to the public.

This is a fantastic museum has enthusiastic staff and volunteers who have both respect and help for members of the public and have enthusiasm about there attraction.


I Understand that this attraction has been part of The Wirral for about 15 years and it would be a real shame to see the only 2 Falklands vessels scrapped.

May I just ad that they also have one of the only do day landing crafts still afloat which was soon to be restored.

I was wondering if you have any ideas how to save this fantastic heritage museum.
