U-653 attack on SS Peisander May 42

My father survived the sinking of a tanker SS Peisander 6225t at N37.24-W65.38 on 17 May 1942 near the Bahamas on a voyage from Venezeula.

Can anybody give me more details about the activities of U-653 which sank her ?
