Hello all!
I am new to this excellent site to day and I have a question regarding "UB 84" which I hope someone can help to resolve.
I am collecting the historic facts about the German cargo vessel "Solingen" built 1905. Requested by The Imperial German Navy 12.10.1914 for service as a Sperrbrecher. She first became "Sperrbrecher 3" and from April 1915 "Sperrbrecher 12".
According to my notes, she sunk the "UB 84" in a collision on the 06.12.1917. As a result of this, the u-boat sank in the Eckernforder Bucht. According to information on this site, nothing is noted about this incident.
Anybody who has some information about this incident?
Best regards
Terje Nilsen
