The only books that I have come across that give any reasonable accounts of the war in the Black Sea are Gregor and the Ottoman Steam Navy.

Gregor gives tables for Russian warships and merchant vessels lost and enemy warships and merchant vessels lost, but in the Black Sea section there are no mention of Russian merchant vessels lost.

Offfhand I cannot say precisely about the Ottoman book as I have to go to our local library to consult it, but I'm sure that there must have been mercant casualties, as BVLS give a British ship as being damaged there (I don't have the exact details to hand at this moment). Let's hope that somebody else can come up with something.
