<HTML>Hello,

I’m working on the story if the ship « Henry R James » who was torpedoed on July 1917 in the Channel. This ship belonged to the little "Henry R James and Sons Ltd" which was based at Bristol. As far as I know, the "C.J. King's investment" took interest into the little society in 1919. The "C.J. King's investment" seems to have disappeared in 1963...
Can someone tell me more about this little society (and the "C.J. King's investment")?
Perhaps there’s something written in one of the three volumes of "The
History of the Great War; The Merchant Navy" by Archibald HURD (Naval &
Military Press). I don’t possess these books.
Actually all details about both companies and the ship are interesting for me. I also trying to reconstruct the travels of the ship between the year she was laid down in 1909 and her end in 1917.

Thanks for all help.</HTML>
