<HTML>One of the most extraordinary photographs I have seen is an aerial shot of U-48 embedded within the northern Goodwin sandbanks off Kent.

I saw the photograph in a British publication, the Automobile Association Book of the British Coast which came out about 10 years ago.

My understanding is that the wreck has emerged briefly from the sea in 1921, 1939 and in June 1973. Has anyone out there seen this photograph and does anyone know where it can be found ?
