Your information is very interesting because there are an extensive report in the local newspapers about a nigth attack of u-boat to the French cargo "Loukkos" in December 20 or 21 - 1915, south Barcelona. The ship ran aground, near the beach very damaged by cannon shots, but was refloated and some weeks later reached Marsella. If anyone is interested in those documents they are available. The fishermen, at that time, spoke about the presence of an u-boat for "two months" in the area.
(...a peculiar period for an u-boat at that time). Maybe a torpedo-boat (coming from...?) ?

One question more please,
Do you know the U-boat who sank the "Città de Palermo" the first week of december-1916, 25 miles E of Palafrugell (Costa Brava-Spain) near France ?
