Cape Fear WW-1 Wreck

I have a friend that is a Charter Captain out of Southport, NC that has told me of a German Sub just off the coast. I believe it to be a WW-1 wreck. Anyone know of one that was missing in that area?

(Cape Fear is to the South of Cape Hatteras. IT goes.....Cape Hatteras, Cape Lookout, Cape Fear.)
