<HTML>Hi U-boat-fan,
this is one of the questions I don't like.
v. Arnauld scored his successes in the Mediterranean sea where the anti submarine warfare wasn't on a level like around the home waters of the UK. So the successes of commanders in 1917 and 1918 in these waters against Atlantic and Coastal convoys with lots of escorts around the convoys and in the air are much more valuable then the successes in other areas and in the years of 1914-1916. This is the reason why you can't get a righteous voting.
At last, I think a voting for the best Commander or U-boat isn't what this forum should stand for. The remembrance of the men and the boats of both sides should be the primary reason for our work on this subjekt.
