Bit tricky that one as the bow is pretty mangled up and most of the front section is completely open.

I'll describe what I can of the dive and that might give
you an idea. It lies in 35m about 15 miles South of
Portsmouth UK.

The boat is at an angle of 45 degrees and has two deck guns
for and aft of the conning tower. Of the two hatches I
could find, both were fully open.

The teak deck is mostly rotted away and the ribs showing
underneath. Lots of the superstructure has gaps where large
tanks/containers are (in pairs or in line).

No sign of a prop, but the rudder is still visible.

I am doing this sub again on the 23rd of this month, so
if you (or anybody else) can advise me on what to look for
to identify it I would be grateful.
