I think the stern was more tapered, which would lead it to
the U90 description, but quite often the dead South of
England is lumped in with the South East as a region, as the
South West is very much Devon/Cornwall etc.

So it may still be the U86.

I will look again at the stern (shape/number of tubes),
Conning tower and bow arrangement. Although anything at the
bow will be pretty mangled up.

We will be taking cameras this time, so if we get any good
shots I will post them.

There are big chunks of the outer skin missing, so if there is any internal info that is unique to any particular boat let me know.
