Terry,

The wreck sound like a Danzig built boat like U 90. The guns were about five meters either side of the conning tower.

I can photocopy and mail you a copy of the plans for the U 87-92 series as well as U 81 - 86.

Also, I can e-mail you a picture of the 88mm/30 caliber gun that was likely fitted to the boat.
